What Vogue Editors Will Wear to New York Fashion Week

Remember when everyone was complaining about the unseasonably warm December weather?
(Lest you forget, New York reached a record-breaking 72 degrees on Christmas.)
Well, those balmy days are over—and just in time for New York Fashion Week.

Over the next two weeks, showgoers will likely spend just as much time getting to the venues as they do in their actual seats, which means the snow, ice, and wind in the forecast will greatly affect the topic front and center of everyone’s mind: “What am I going to wear?”

Your new favorite shoes may be out of the question—nothing ruins a velvet Mary Jane like sidewalk salt—but ski boots aren’t exactly the most street style–worthy choice, either. Vogue editors were asked to share their tried-and-tested winter tricks, from strategic layering to the very best shearling coat on the market.

OUR ENVIE PARKA AS HER NY Fashion Week ITEM.

“When the weather gets ugly during Fashion Week, I pretty much live in my EnVie heARTwork parka —which, considering it’s made from a recycled army tent, isn’t actually as crazy as it sounds. It’s lined with (responsibly sourced!) mink, it’s essentially inclement-weather-proof, and it has a generous hood and giant pockets for my giant iPhone and giant show invitations. It gets me through everything.”
